At the Russian Figure Skating Championships in Chelyabinsk, the pair of Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Galliamov took first place in the short program. In the final protocol for pairs they lead with a score of 83.01 points. In second place are Alexandra Boikova and Dmitry Kozlovsky with a score of 78.95, and third place went to Ekaterina Chikmareva and Matvey Yanchenkov with 76.42 points.

A thrashing occurred in the pairs. During the performance of the pair Boykova Kozlovsky, Alexander Galliamov began to post memes in his telegram channel. The first after Boykova’s mistake.

The second after Boykova’s grading of Kozlovsky.

At the press conference, Galliamov, admitted that the posts in his Telegram channel creates it.

“Interesting, liked it, going on. While warming up, some gif to throw fun. People like it. Laugh, dilute the atmosphere, everyone is happy,” smiles Galliamov.

Boykova and Kozlovsky expressed their bewilderment about Alexander’s posts, saying that these posts are “not interesting” to them and they are “not signed”. Not all fans received Galliamov’s posts with enthusiasm, with many criticizing him for his lack of respect for his opponents.

“Maybe it’s some element of medialiga. We don’t know how it works, we don’t follow it, we’re not subscribed,” Kozlowski said.

“Frankly, we are not interested in it,” Boykova added.

Galliamov’s creativity did not end there. At the press conference, the figure skater decided to rap.

  • You promised that a track would be released soon. How are things with it?
  • This is still at the stage of discussion. For now, the Russian championship is underway. In between training and competition, I’ve been rapping:
Not PHARAOH, not LJ, not OG Buda, not Basta, Obla, etc.
More important for us is the ice, a little rough right now, but
Five minutes ago I rolled the KP (after that Alexander made a meaningful pause).
  • Figure out which pair to put chips on.
  • I’m not alone, I have Nastya with me. Your Bears.

Mishina’s last name is consonant with the word “bear” in Russian. And Galliamov’s surname is Gummi, so fans sometimes call them Gummi Bears.

The hall met the composition with applause. However, Boykova and Kozlovsky refrained from clapping for some reason.

Mishina – Galliamov and Boykova – Kozlovsky spoke about competition with each other.

Mishina: In fact, we have been competing since childhood, even since single skating with Sasha. It’s not new for us, it’s interesting, it’s habitual. How can figure skating be without competition? Of course, it’s great.

Galliamov: Dima and I have known each other for a long time too, since singles skating.

Kozlovsky: I wouldn’t say that we competed in any way. Before Sasha went to pairs, I think he was more promising as a singles skater than I was.

Galliamov: We have great competition. It was funny when we went out to practice, first you practice, then me. When I came from warm-up, we had lockers in the academy – your locker on top, mine on the bottom. It’s not that we were competing, just to make each other comfortable.

Kozlovsky: When we skated at Tamara Nikolaevna’s (Moskvina’s) place, we changed clothes next to each other too, apparently it was fate.

Mishina and Galliamov evaluated the short program skating at the Russian Championships.
“The main achievement is that we managed our nerves. We were able to calmly go out on the ice and do everything the way we trained,” Mishina said.
“We really coped with the rolling. Happy with it. The coaches were pleased. Tomorrow we will rest and prepare for the free skating program.
With our team “Purely Peter” in Medialiga we are always in touch. We have a pleasant atmosphere. I have friends there, we communicate very well,” added Galliamov.

Boikova and Kozlovsky evaluated the short program at the Russian Championships.
Kozlovsky: It’s a shame, the short program was close to being outstanding. Of all the performances this season, today was the easiest, airy and playful. I’m sure that the mistake didn’t spoil the overall performance, but it’s very offensive.
Boykova: I rushed to push off, flew off-axis. If you hurry, you make people laugh. Don’t do it again.
Kozlovsky: In the conditions of suspension, this is the most important and fundamental tournament of the season. The only one that gives a Russian athlete some kind of title that stays forever. The rest are replaced by other tournaments.
(About mastering the quadruple ejection) It’s a difficult element. The question is expediency. If we understand that it is reasonable to perform it in the program, we will do it.
