Shoma Uno: “I haven’t made a decision yet whether I will continue skating for another season or not”

After the first day of competition, Shoma Uno was in first place, but errors in the free program and excellent performances of his opponents did not allow the Japanese to climb to the podium.
“I was happy with my preparation for this World Championships and happy with my short program. It would be great if the event ended after the short program, then I would be completely satisfied. I would like to make my coach Stéphane Lambiel happy today. And yes, I haven’t made a decision yet whether I will continue skating for another season or not.
I will never review this free program, for another 10 years for sure. But I have already reviewed the short program from this World Championships. I’m reviewing my good performances, yes,” Uno said in the press area after the skate.
