Japanese figure skater Kaori Sakamoto has shared her views on criticism.
Sakamoto, who is a two-time world figure skating champion, expressed her attitude to questions about why she is considered a world champion without doing a triple axel or quadruple jump.
“Sometimes people ask, ‘Why are you a world champion if you don’t do a triple axel or a quadruple jump?’ If someone wants to see big jumps, maybe they shouldn’t follow my performances. I don’t like it when people say that,” Sakamoto noted.
