Kao Miura won the Four Continents Championship

Japanese figure skater Kao Miura became the winner of the Four Continents Tournament in Colorado Springs (USA) in men’s singles.
In the sum of the two programs, Miura received 281.53 points. Second place went to Canadian Keegan Messing (275.57). In third position is another Japanese Shun Sato (259.14).
In the competition of sports couples, the Japanese Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara (208.24) excelled, the Americans Emily Chan and Spencer Akira Howe (201.11) became the second, and the Canadians Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps (193.84) closed the top three.

According to the regulations of the competition, the participants of the tournament after each discipline receive gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively.
The Council of the International Skating Union (ISU) on March 1, against the backdrop of events in Ukraine, suspended Russian and Belarusian figure skaters, speed skaters and short track skaters from participating in international tournaments. In June, the ISU Congress approved this decision, it will remain in effect until further notice.
