Tutberidze said that Valieva was treated to tea and ice cream at the World Cup 2022.

Kamila Valieva tested positive for trimetazidine on December 25, 2021 during the Russian Championships in St. Petersburg.

This became known only at the Olympic Games in Beijing after the team event, which was won by the Russian team with Valieva in the lineup.
