Ilia Malinin successfully performed a quadruple lutz – oyler – triple salchow at the Grand Prix stage in the USA. This figure cascade brought him positive marks for his performance. Malinin implemented it in the second half of his free skating program.

Ilia Malinin won the Grand Prix stage in the USA, scoring 310.47 points in total. For his free skating program he received 206.41 points, of which 118.64 points were for the performance of technical elements. It is important to note that Malinin did not perform a quadruple axel in this program.
