Aliona Kostornaia and Georgy Kunitsa changed the music for the short program.

Since the beginning of the season, the skaters have performed to the song Crazy in love. At the Russian Championships they will skate to Max Richter's composition The Departure.

Kostornaia has already performed to this music when she was a singles skater.

In the 2019/20 season, with a short program under Richter, she became the winner of the Grand Prix final and European champion.
