Olympic champions in ice dancing French figure skaters Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron are discussing a return to competition, a source familiar with the situation told RIA Novosti.
The source noted that the athletes have not yet made a final decision, but the idea of returning to the sport seems interesting to them. At the same time, in case of a favorable decision, the athletes could try to enter the next competitive season already.
Papadakis/Cizeron paused their careers after their victorious 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. They are also five-time world and European champions and were the overall world record holders at the time of the suspension.
