“Not so long ago, a friend came to me, said something about Olympic medals – and I remembered that I had them. But now I realize that it’s just an iron. An object with rings on it.
In that moment, there was a cognitive dissonance that this particular object was an affirmation of your path. But I realized that’s not true at all. My values have changed, my priorities have changed.
Now there is no joy or sorrow when I hold the medals, I feel nothing. I live in a different era,” said Evgenia Medvedeva at the premiere of a documentary about herself.
