The day before, 14-year-old Simonova’s partner Martin Breslavsky dropped her from the support during the short program. The athlete hit her head on the ice, but she and her partner still finished the program.
Coach Nina Moser spoke about the state of health of the figure skater who fell from the support.
“Two days Maria will be in a medical clinic. She is being checked, the best specialists in Moscow are connected. According to the results of X-rays and CT (computed tomography) serious, I emphasize, serious health problems she does not have.
She is being examined, and the doctors are monitoring her condition. She communicates with everyone, remembers everything. Her condition is stable,” said the Director General of the Moscow Figure Skating Federation.
