Kozlovsky spoke out about facing off against Galliamov as team captains.
Alexander Galliamov and Dmitry Kozlovsky, who compete in pairs skating, are captains at the Russian Jumping Championships. The team event will be held on January 21.
Kozlovsky: What will happen tomorrow? A fight, ha ha. But I hope it won’t come to a fight. We don’t have such a thing in our plans.
Gallyamov: Not to keep us seven.
Kozlovsky: Sasha and I discussed it – I think we have an interesting rivalry. We are both strong athletes, we are helped by amazing partners.
We are adults, with certain regalia, principled rivals. It seems to me that the rivalry of some teams should be built around such figures, if we come to the point of choosing captains.
