ISU awards Scherbakova gold at European Championship-2022 after Valieva’s disqualification

Scherbakova became European champion in 2022 after the disqualification of Valieva.
This is reported by the press service of the International Skating Union.
Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) disqualified Valieva for 4 years for doping and canceled her results from December 25, 2021.
She was stripped of the title of European champion-2022 and the gold of the team tournament of the Olympics-2022.
The gold medal went to Russia’s Anna Scherbakova, silver to her compatriot Alexandra Trusova and bronze to Belgium’s Luna Hendricks.
