Canadian figure skater Paul Poirier, paired with Piper Gilles, shared his opinion on the rhythm dance they presented at the 2024 Four Continents Championships. After this performance, they are in the lead for first place.
“We are really satisfied with our performance today. We aimed to feel in harmony with each other, with the music, and actually successfully execute our program. I’m confident that we were able to accomplish that. We felt very confident on the ice,” – said the athlete in an interview with the press service of the International Skating Union (ISU).
Recall that for the rhythm dance Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier received 85.49 points, ahead of the second, Laurence Fournier Baudry and Nicolai Sørensen, by 3.47 points.
