Earlier, the French figure skating coach and 2007 world champion was accused of violence.

The disciplinary committee of the French Ice Sports Federation considered Joubert’s case on November 10.

The investigation report mentions numerous accusations against the coach: inappropriate behavior, being intoxicated at work, sarcastic comments to students.

He is also suspected of having a sexual relationship with a minor.

One of the coach’s former students, who remained anonymous, reported his “unhinged anger and abusive attitude.” Other witnesses claim Joubert yelled at his charges, may have pushed and hit them, and kicked them out of the rink.

Joubert claims the testimony against him is fabricated.

L’Equipe quotes Joubert as saying in August: “I’m not saying I’m perfect, but I do my best, I give 200% for the kids. We can no longer coach the way we did in my time and I know I will have to raise my voice less.”

A ruling on the ex-figure skater’s case is expected to be handed down within 15 days.
