Alexandra Boikova, shared her impressions of her participation in the doubles event at the Russian Jumping Championships.
“We went first of all to have fun. This is the only tournament in the season where you don’t skate the program and don’t strain yourself. You did an element – you got pleasure, pleased the audience. I wanted to do a quadruple throw on my birthday and please the audience. We did it many times in training, it is calmly perceived, but today it didn’t work out. I hope that tomorrow everything will work out.
Initially we planned a quadruple in the final. We also wanted to do a rittberger – dupel – dupel cascade, but before the final the coaches said to do a salchow – dupel – dupel. We have to readjust. I guess I didn’t,” Boikova said.
