“My biggest wish is for the medal to come as soon as possible. I have been waiting for two years, so I would be happy if the decision was made soon. I don’t have the medal in my hands, so I don’t feel it.
It was lonely going home as I couldn’t take my medal with me. Everyone wanted to see the medal and I felt the same way,” said Wakaba Higuchi.
