Strong criticism of Maya Khromykh by Tatyana Tarasova
Andrei Zhurankov commented on Tatiana Tarasova’s criticism of Maya Khromykh.
“I think Tatiana Anatolievna’s words here were harsh, because like, ‘That’s why she had to go out like that…'” Maya is trying to come back. It’s her choice, she’s doing her best to come back.
Another issue is that Khromykh is an illustration of what’s going on in modern figure skating. A person is written off, as it were, and that’s it. But no, she’s fighting! This is her personal path that she is taking, and praise her for that. I wouldn’t be as categorical as Tatiana Anatolievna in Khromykh’s comments, although it was hard to watch,” the commentator said on the “Skate Walk” podcast.
