Luna Hendricks shared her view on her performance in the free program at the Grand Prix Final:
“Naturally, I’m not satisfied with my performance today. Too many things went wrong.
On the lutz, I forgot the steps, I tried to concentrate on the jump itself and, thank the higher powers, I managed it. Then in the choreo, I lost the steps again. It was a kind of blackout, some kind of eclipse.
Yes, of course it’s nice to get a medal, but for me the most important thing would be a flawless performance and satisfaction with myself. Maybe I would have preferred a bronze medal with two clean rides than this result.
I probably didn’t have enough preparation. So now my main task is to recover for the European Championships. Just work, work and work again,” the figure skater shared.
