Ilia Malinin: “I saw Vladislav Dikidzhi’s quadruple Axel, I’m happy for him”
“Of course, I saw the quadruple axel performed by Vlad Dikidji. I was really amazed.
I remember what it cost me to attempt a quadruple axel in my time – you had to dare to jump it, it was not easy from a moral point of view. Vlad does it with such an outward ease, it’s amazing. It’s great that I was able to inspire someone to do this jump. My goal is to move figure skating forward, I’m happy that someone else dares to do a quadruple axel – I hope there will be more successful attempts.
I am really happy when someone does it, there can be no jealousy,” Malinin said
