Today it became known that Russian champion Sofya Akatieva withdrew from the third stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Krasnoyarsk, which will be held on October 25-29.
“The reason for missing the start in Krasnoyarsk was a severe bruise, it will take a week and a half to recover.
Sofya is training, but due to painful sensations she can’t make sharp movements yet, so she refrains from multi-turn jumps for the time being.
She still expects to qualify for the final of the Russian Grand Prix, so she plans to participate in two stages of the series,” the source said.
