Eteri Tutberidze intends to file a protest against the results of Kamila Valieva’s free skating program at the Grand Prix in Kazan
Kamila Valieva’s team plans to file a protest against the results of the Grand Prix in Kazan.
This is reported by R-Sport, citing a source close to the situation. Today Valieva took fourth place in the competition, although she was in the lead after the short program.
In the final protocol, the skater received two penalties – for a fall from the quadruple tulup and a mistake on the choreo. In addition, the judges nullified one of the two sequences for the skater, as the rules forbid to do more than one such element in the free skating program.
It is not reported what exactly Valieva’s side is going to challenge.
