– Lena started training with Evgeny Viktorovich (Plushenko) today. There are three weeks left before the Russian Championships in Kazan. The work started with the first training session on recovery of jumps and programs.
Lena took a week’s pause in training to treat her ankle. We need to regain the previous level and reach a new, higher level. Plushenko has the most important thing – the desire to work with the athlete. I believe this is the foundation of the training process.
Lena really enjoyed the training. It’s been a long time since my girl has received so many comments and attention,” Irina Kostyleva told Match TV.
