CAS will not apply to Valieva for permission to publish the verdict in her case
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is not going to request permission from Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva regarding the publication of the decision on her case related to anti-doping rule violations.
“The information that CAS is considering this case is not confidential. The final decision will be presented publicly.
According to the Code of Sports Arbitration, CAS may publish the full text of the award with reasons. However, if any of the parties believe that certain information contained in the decision should remain confidential, they may submit a request for possible removal of such information, provided that it does not affect the meaning or understanding of the decision,” the CAS press service told the TASS news agency.
