Olympic champion in ice dancing Natalia Bestemianova believes that American Nathan Chen deservedly won the International Skating Union (ISU) award in the category “Most Valuable Figure Skater”.
Russian skater Anna Shcherbakova and French dance duo Gabriela Papadakis – Guillaume Cizeron were also nominated for the award. The awards ceremony was held Sunday in Zurich.
“To me, everything is fair. Anya is a young girl, she won the Olympics unexpectedly for everyone. Nathan had been coming to this for years.
