Amber Glenn has announced her withdrawal from the Four Continents Championship
Glenn had previously won the U.S. championship.
“The last 24 hours have been surreal and so exciting for me, but as reality sets in, i’ve decided to withdraw from four continents to prioritize my physical well-being to preserve my longevity in the sport. I want to set myself up for the best recovery, but the physical toll of doing two back-to-back championship events takes its toll.
In anticipation of being selected for the world championship team, this decision gives me more time to prepare and perform my best to help team usa earn three women’s spots for a home worlds in boston.” – Amber Glenn
The Four Continents Championship will be held from February 1 to 4 in Shanghai.
