Canadian figure skater Dinna Stellato-Dudek has set a unique achievement at the 2024 World Figure Skating Championships
Having won the free program at the World Championships, the 40-year-old athlete became the oldest winner of the world championships among women in all disciplines.
Stellato-Dudek performed in the sports pairs free program together with Maxime Deschamps. Together, the Canadians showed a result of 221.56. Japanese runners-up Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara had a score of 217.88. Bronze medalists Minerva Haze and Nikita Volodin have 210.40.
Stellato-Dudek had never won a world championship medal before in her career. The victory at the home world championship in 2024 was her first.
