In the short program, the five-time French champion scored 57.33 points.
The figure skater did a butterfly on the flip, fell off the triple axel, did a single rittberger in a cascade with a triple lutz. Also, he was not counted as a spin – there are dashes in the protocol.
As a result, Aimo took 31st place out of 32 skaters.
